Maria Ninova is a Bulgarian-born figurative and coastal oil painter based on Nantucket Island, Massachusetts. Her work centers on the female form, oceanic themes, and shells — a motif she has been drawn to since childhood on the Black Sea coast.

She is a member of the Artist Association of Nantucket. Every original painting ships with a certificate of authenticity and a hand-collected shell from the island's shoreline.
